UKIP hold

A by-election was held for the Aveley and Uplands ward of Thurrock Council on 4 December 2014 following the death of UKIP Cllr Maggie O'Keeffe-Ray, elected in 2014.

Tim Aker held the seat for UKIP and will be up for election in 2018.
