High Town by-election, 2016

Labour hold

A by-election was held for the High Town ward of Luton (Unitary) Council on 30 June 2016 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Aysegul Gurbuz after being suspended by the Labour Party for anti-semitic tweets (link).

Maahwish Mirza held the seat for Labour.
