Puckeridge by-election, 2016

Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Puckeridge ward of East Hertfordshire District Council on 15 September 2016 following the resignation of Independent Cllr James Cartwright, elected as a Conservative, after being censured for a breach of the code of conduct regarding tweets he posted about other members of the council.

Peter Boylan held the seat for the Conservatives.
