A by-election was held for the Shenfield ward of Brentwood Borough Council on 29 October 2015 following the resignation of Liberal Democrat Cllr Liz Cohen due to ill-health.
Cohen was originally elected in a previous by-election held on 6 December 2012, covered here, and then again in 2014.
Janet Pound gained the seat for the Conservatives, and will be up for election again in 2018.
