St George's (Castle Point) by-election, 2016

Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the St George's ward of Castle Point Borough Council on 5 May 2016 following the death of Conservative Cllr Jacqueline Govier.

The by-election was contested separately from the 2016-20 term seat, which was up for normal election on the same day.

Steven Cole held the seat for the Conservatives.
