Bingham by-election, 2016

Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Bingham division of Nottinghamshire County Council on 4 August 2016 following the death of Conservative Cllr Martin Suthers. Suthers had first served as a councillor on Nottingham City Council from 1967, and had served on Nottinghamshire County Council since 2000 and Rushcliffe Borough Council since 2015.

Francis Purdue-Horan held the seat for the Conservatives.
