A by-election was held for the Bracebridge ward of the City of Lincoln Council on 22 August 2013 following the disqualification of Independent Cllr Darren Grice, who had originally been elected as a Conservative, for failing to attend council meetings.

Katie Vause gained the seat for Labour.
