Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Cherry Willingham ward of West Lindsay District Council on 29 September 2016 following the resignation of Conservative Cllr Alexander Bridgwood in order to join the armed forces.

Maureen Palmer held the seat for the Conservatives.
