Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Collingham and Meering ward of Newark and Sherwood District Council on 11 September 2014 following the death of Conservative Cllr Derek Evans, who was originally elected in an earlier by-election held on 2 May 2013, covered here.

Richard Shillito held the seat for the Conservatives.
