Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Measham South ward of North West Leicestershire District Council on 4 February 2016 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Tom Neilson after being arrested on suspicion of possessing and intending to supply illegal drugs (Leicester Mercury).

Sean Sheahan held the seat for Labour.
