Woodside by-election, 2015

Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Woodside ward of Haringey London Borough Council on 17 September 2015 following the death of Labour Cllr George Meehan. Meehan had served as a Haringey councillor from 1971 to 1986, then since 1990. He served three periods as leader of the council in 1983 to 1985, 1999 to 2004 and finally in 2006 to 2008.

Peter Mitchell held the seat for Labour.
