Liberal Democrats hold

A by-election was held for the Ormesby ward of Redcar and Cleveland Council on 18 August 2016 following the resignation of Liberal Democrat Cllr Ann Wilson due to ill health.

Carole Morgan held the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
