Yarm by-election, 2017

Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Yarm ward of Stockton-on-Tees Borough (Unitary) Council on 22 June 2017 following the resignation of Conservative Cllr Ben Houchen after being elected Mayor of the Tees Valley Combined Authority on 8 May.

Tony Hampton held the seat for the Conservatives.
