Labour gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Carnforth and Millhead ward of Lancaster City (Borough) Council on 5 May 2016 following the death of Conservative Cllr George Askew, elected in a previous by-election held for Carnforth and Millhead on 26 November 2015, covered here.

John Reynolds gained the seat for Labour.
