Castle (Cumbria) by-election, 2014

Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Castle division of Cumbria County Council on 11 September 2014 following the death of Labour Cllr Willie Whalen.

Another by-election was also held on the same day for the corresponding seat on Carlisle City Council, covered here.

Alan McGuckin held the seat for Labour.
