Failsworth East by-election, 2017

A by-election was held for the Failsworth East ward of Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council on 16 February 2017 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Jim McMahon, to focus on serving as an MP. McMahon won the Oldham West and Royton by-election on 3 December 2015.

Paul Jacques held the seat for Labour.
