Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Skelmersdale North ward of West Lancashire Borough Council on 11 December 2014 following the death of Labour Cllr Richard Nolan, elected in 2011.

Jenny Patterson held the seat for Labour and will be up for election in 2015.
