UKIP gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Cliftonville East ward of Thanet Borough Council on 9 May 2013 following the disqualification of Independent Cllr Sandy Ezekiel, originally elected as a Conservative.

Rozanne Duncan gained the seat for UKIP.
