Conservative gain from Liberal Democrats

A by-election was held for the Epsom West division of Surrey County Council on 19 November 2015 following the resignation of Liberal Democrat Cllr Stella Lallement due to 'differences of opinion and her inability to fit in with Epsom and Ewell's Lib Dem party' (Epsom Guardian).
