Liberal Democrats gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Hellingly ward of Wealden District Council on 29 October 2015 following the resignation of Independent Cllr Paul Soane, originally elected as a Conservative, who was standing again as an Independent candidate following his resignation from the Conservatives.

David White gained the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
