Kingswood with Burgh Heath by-election, 2016

Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Kingswood with Burgh Heath ward of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council on 3 November 2016 following the death of Conservative Cllr Joan Spiers. Spiers had served as a councillor since 1984, including terms as council leader from 2003 to 2007 and again from 2008 to 2014, and served as Mayor for 2015/16.

Rod Ashford held the seat for the Conservatives.
