West Heath by-election, 2014

UKIP hold

A by-election was held for the West Heath ward of Rushmoor Borough Council on 9 October 2014 following the resignation of UKIP Cllr Malcolm Small, after being pressured to do so following being given a suspended prison sentence for arson (Get Hampshire).

Cllr Small was originally elected in all-out elections following boundary changes in 2012. He came second in those elections, and as such this seat will be up for election again in 2015.

Dave Bell held the seat for UKIP.
