Liberal Democrats hold

A by-election was held for the Clifton with Maidenway ward of Torbay Council on 5 November 2015 following the death of Liberal Democrat Cllr Ruth Pentney.

Adrian Sanders, the former MP for Torbay, held the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
