Conservative gain from Liberal Democrats

A by-election was held for the Frome North division of Somerset County Council on 25 September 2014 following the resignation of Liberal Democrats Cllr Sam Phripp over "intimidation and bullying from other politicians".

Linda Oliver gained the seat for the Conservatives.
