Green gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Hednesford South ward of Cannock Chase District Council on 7 September 2017 following the disqualification of Conservative Cllr Joanne Christian after failing to attend any meetings of the council for over six months.

Stuart Karl Crabtree gained the seat for the Green Party.
