Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Ombersley division of Worcestershire County Council on 11 August 2016 following the death of Conservative Cllr Maurice Broomfield. Broomfield had served as a councillor on Bromsgrove District Council from 1973 to 1995, then on Worcestershire County Council since 1997.

Robert Tomlinson held the seat for the Conservatives.
