Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Dearne North ward of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council on 27 August 2015 following the death of Labour Cllr Dave Sim, elected in 2014.

Annette Gollick held the seat for Labour, and will be up for election again in 2018.
