Conservative hold

A by-election was held for the Mid Holderness ward of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council on 2 May 2013 following the resignation of Conservative Cllr Matthew Grove, after being elected Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside.

John Holtby held the seat for the Conservatives.
